Your hands are on someone for the next hour
You cannot break a treatment to take a call, and the caller cannot tell the difference between busy and closed. They ring the next clinic on the list.
Allied Health
Physio, chiro, psychology, podiatry, myotherapy, dietetics — the work is hands-on and an hour long, and the phone rings straight through it. In a solo or two-room practice there is nobody else to pick it up.
The demo line is Amy. Ring it, talk to her like a customer would, and see what lands on your phone afterwards.
01 — What it costs you now
You cannot break a treatment to take a call, and the caller cannot tell the difference between busy and closed. They ring the next clinic on the list.
One or two practitioners, no receptionist, and the phone is whoever happens to be free. Most of the day that is nobody.
A 4pm slot that frees up at 1pm is money if someone takes it and nothing if they don't. Nobody at the treatment table is going to work the phone.
02 — How it works
No hardware, no new number to learn, no rewiring your office. We build her on your business, you approve, we point the calls.
A single call. Your services, your prices, what a caller usually asks, what you never want promised. We write it into her.
You ring her and try to break her. Anything that sounds wrong, we change — before a customer ever hears it.
Divert your existing number to her, or divert only the ones you miss. Your number stays yours. Turn it off any time.
03 — What she gets out of the caller
A voicemail gives you a name and a number. Amy asks the questions you'd ask, so you're calling back to confirm — not to start.
04 — How it sounds
Caller
Are you taking new patients? I did my back in at work on Friday.Amy
We are. Have you seen a GP about it, or is this the first stop?Caller
GP gave me a referral — a care plan, I think it was.Amy
Bring that with you, it changes what you pay on the day. First appointment runs an hour. Tuesday at 4:15, or Wednesday morning?Caller
Tuesday's better.Amy
Booked, and I'll text the confirmation now. I won't try to tell you what's wrong with the back — that's the physio's job on Tuesday. Not a script we wrote for this page — this is the shape of a real call on the demo line. Ring it and it will go much the same way.
05 — Price
All-in, GST included, no setup fee for the founding ten. First two weeks are a no-questions trial — leave inside fourteen days and you pay nothing.
06 — Questions
Not yet, and we are not going to put a tick next to it here until she can. Today she books into a Google Calendar and texts the confirmation. Cliniko and Halaxy both publish an API that would let us write into your real appointment book, and it is on the list — tell us what you run and we will give you a straight answer on whether and when.
No. She records what the caller says, in their words, and does not interpret it. Anything that sounds like a clinical question goes to you.
Read this one carefully, because it matters more than anything else on the page. Amy is not a crisis service and she does not assess risk. For a caller in distress she does one thing: gives the pathway you have written for us — your on-call number, or the crisis line you nominate — and escalates. If that is not a fit for how your practice works, say so, and we will tell you honestly whether we should be on your line at all.
She books into whatever is genuinely free at the moment she is asked, so a slot that opened at 1pm is offerable at 1:01. Actively ringing your waitlist is outbound work — a different setup, ask us about it.
No. She can explain your fees and your rebate arrangements if you give them to her, but Catchly never handles card details on a call. That is deliberate, not a gap.
Sole practitioners are most of who this is for. Some run her only for the hours they are in the room — the cheapest way to use her, and the gap that costs the most.
