Data & privacy
When you contact a business that uses this service — by phone, through the chat box on this website, or by Instagram direct message — we process:
Only to answer your enquiry on behalf of that business, arrange a booking, and pass the details to that business so they can follow up. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
To run the service we use third-party processors in the categories below. They act only on our instructions and not for their own purposes.
If you want to know which specific provider sits behind any category, email us and we will tell you.
Call recordings and transcripts are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Account and billing data is kept for the life of the account plus seven years, which is the tax-record requirement. You can ask us to delete recordings and transcripts earlier at any time.
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests can also be made on our data deletion page.
Whether calls are recorded is decided by the business using this service, not by us. Recording law differs between Australian states. The business is responsible for the legal call in its own state and for the wording of the spoken notice callers hear; we configure it on their instructions. We do not give legal advice.
The assistant answering your call is an AI. Whenever a caller asks, it says so. It does not pretend to be a person.
Transactional messages such as booking confirmations are part of the service. Promotional messages such as review invitations are only sent with consent, and every one of them can be stopped by replying STOP.
Where a processor category above is marked United States, personal information is disclosed outside Australia. Under Australian Privacy Principle 8 (Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Schedule 1) we take reasonable steps to ensure those overseas recipients handle it to a standard no lower than the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that breaches the Australian Privacy Principles, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): oaic.gov.au, phone 1300 363 992.
